Amanda Charis Rasch, hails from Switzerland and is the director of Charisma Dance Company. While completing her degree in Economics, Amanda was a leading part at Wannadance Company in Switzerland. Amanda is a balanced Salsera (lady Salsa dancer) who incorporates her experience in other dance styles, such as Flamenco and Belly dancing etc. to bring a unique aspect to ladies’ Salsa dancing style. She gained acclaim for choreographies and performances especially in Ladies styling, having successfully participated in competitions.

Amanda has acquired her dance experience in Europe and participated at congresses and other projects in countries such as Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Spain and South Africa. Her recent experience was presented at a venue in Cape Town, partnering one of the most famous international Salsa male dancers, Mark-Anthony Sheppard from MAS Mambo based in Sweden / Canada.

With her strong foundation in Salsa, she moved to Cape Town in July 2009 and became co-director of The Salsa Studio, a well-known dance school based in Cape Town. In July 2010 she decided to take the ladies aspect of Salsa more seriously and founded Charisma Dance Company.
